One of our housemates is moving out of state, and we are looking to bring a good friend into the quilt of our lives.
There are hardwood floors throughout and tons of windows.
We have a pull-out couch and a dining room table that seats 6.
Most of the furniture pictured in the common spaces can stay, but weβre open to adding and/or changing items if you have furniture that you would like to bring with you.
We welcome more plants and art to add to the mix!
The kitchen is well equipped with utensils & appliances, a dishwasher, and a big 6-burner gas range.
There is plenty of cabinet and counter space.
We regularly have 2-3 people cooking at the same time and it has not been an issue.
The rare times when all 4 of us cook together there are lots of shared bites and laughs.
We of course are happy to have your kitchen items join our kitchen items!
We have 3 lovely outdoor nooks.
The front porch is a great place to perch for morning sun and Broadway street views.
The back deck is mostly shaded, with some afternoon sun - itβs currently under construction getting a new fence, but normally we use it to lay in a sun patch, have a meal, work out, or give our potted plants some love.
The upstairs communal balcony is one of the gems of our home with views of SF, the Bay, and Marin.
House vibe and what weβre looking for in a housemate: Weβre a calm, friendly, clean/tidy, and welcoming home.
We have our own things going on outside the house and are usually busy with hobbies, but we enjoy chatting with each other around the house, often in the kitchen or over dinner.
We keep things pretty quiet and relaxed during the week, with the occasional roomie dinner or brunch.
We enjoy hosting chill dinner parties and having friends over, but otherwise donβt often throw parties.
We are looking for someone who is on the same wavelength and is excited to match the vibe.
Ideally, you are also a working professional, conscientious, clean, an open communicator, have a good sense of humor, and are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
No pets, no couples, and non-smoking.
Rent and lease term: Rent is $450 per month.
Utilities (PG&E, water, internet) are $80-100 per month on top of that, depending on the season.
Security deposit is $200.
You will sign a month-to-month lease, starting January 1.
The landlord may ask for references and/or proof of income.
