Job Summary
Responsible for assisting in the daily operation of the tutoring center.
Provide tutorial instruction for English as a Second Language (ESOL) students to enhance their understanding of writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills and assisting with preparation of course assignments.
Essential Functions
Provide educational assistance in ESOL (English or Reading) to student(s) which include improving understanding and comprehension of subject matter.
Assist in preparation of course assignments.
Facilitates/ leads conversation and discussion groups.
Assist in tracking student's performance.
Provide feedback to instructors where applicable.
May assist in development of lesson plans or course projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 30 college credit hours with an overall 3.
0 GPA or a minimum of 30 college credit hours with 3.
0 GPA in the tutoring area.

The candidate must be fully qualified for the position at the time of application.

Provides guidance in the general use of technology, as well as the Blackboard online learning platform.

The El Paso Community College is building a pool of Applicants for part-time staff positions.
This pool will be accessed when an opening arises.
Your application will remain active for approximately one (1) year from July 2023 to June 2024.
