We are seeking a scholar with a focus on human resource management (preferably as it relates to diversity management), organizational communication, communication and organizational culture, and/or stakeholder/community engagement and responsiveness.
We are especially interested in scholars that conduct empirical research that examines how public and nonprofits actors engage underserved or traditionally marginalized groups.
The position will be a joint appointment between the Department of Communication and the Department of Political Science and Public Administration with a tenure home in one of these two departments.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.
D.
in Public Administration, Communication, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
ABD applicants will be considered if a doctorate will be in hand by fall 2024.
An active research agenda and published scholarly journal articles are required.
The potential to secure external funding is highly valued.
Preferred Areas: Preference will be given to candidates who have teaching and/or research expertise in one or more areas listed in the job description.
