Responsibilities:
- Conduct martial arts classes for students of various ages and skill levels
- Teach and demonstrate proper techniques, forms, and movements
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical fitness, discipline, and self-defense skills
- Provide guidance and feedback to students to help them improve their martial arts abilities
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
- Monitor student progress and track attendance
Requirements:
- Strong background in martial arts, with expertise in disciplines such as Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA or Kickboxing.
- Experience working with students of different ages, from children to adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage student behavior and maintain discipline in the class
- Knowledge of child development and experience in childcare or physical education is a plus
- Ability to climb, lift, and move equipment as needed during classes
