*Position Summary*
The Staff Duty Driver will provide shuttle driving support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives and meeting the needs of the project and its staff.
*Essential Functions of the Position*
* Transports soldiers to various Fort Bliss/El Paso Texas locations and facilities.
* Keep vehicle log in accordance with policy and procedures of the Mobilization and Deployment.
* Operator will perform preventative maintenance check list before, and after operation of vehicle.
* Transportation services for individuals and or groups, up to and including unit level.
* Must be able to operate radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service and all pick up/drop offs.
* Knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships.
* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (i.
e.
, customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction).
* Must have proficient English verbal and written communication skills.
* Valid U.
S.
state issued driver’s license.
* Must be 21 years of age.
* Must be familiar with Ft.
Bliss and surrounding off post medical facilities.
*Physical Demands*
* Required to walk, stand, sit, and move about the property for long periods of time.
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
*Required Qualifications and Expectations*
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Acceptable driving record
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Multi-task oriented
* Must have an acceptable driving record (7 year)
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Fort Bliss Network Access CAC Card.
*Work Environment*
* Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
* Noise level can range from minimal to intense.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain CAC access, to include network access.
* Valid Driver's License and ability to maintain post driving privileges.
* Prior experience working with/for the US Military, a plus.
* Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

* Must be a US Citizen.
* Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
