General Description
As a Helper you will work cooperatively with a team to efficiently help deliver products to accounts.
Safety will be a main priority for you and your fellow team members.
Your job will involve driving to the accounts and delivery product and restocking areas which have our product.
This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and systems for approval.
Duties and Responsibilities
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position.
Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.
Review the Pre-trip inspection and the safety of the load.
Updating draught cleaning tracking on in house computer at the end of each day
Ensure all product packaging reflects the integrity of the package.
Immediately remove packages that do not meet with these standards.
Maintain good rotation of stock; fill shelves, face and front cold box and hot shelf if one is available during service calls.
Assists the driver in the daily delivery of products to accounts.
Will be using dolly and electric pallet jack.
Monitoring and reporting all competitive activity in accounts.
Communicate with Sales Reps and Region Manager on out-of-stock, POS in need of repair and account issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Must be licensed to drive a motor vehicle and maintain insurability to drive company vehicles.
Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must maintain insurability to drive a company vehicle.
Experience of working outside of normal shift hours to accommodate various employee schedules.
Required Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of principles and methods for auditing safety inspections.
This includes knowledge of delivery and distribution processes and procedures.
Knowledge of products, competitive conditions, market trends and be able to cultivate an action plan to grow the customer’s business.
Strong communication skills and computer skills with Microsoft systems.
Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
Physical Demands
Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 50 pounds of force on a regular.
Employees frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Employees are occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Exposure to weather and temperature variations.
To help load/unload beer cases at events and at account locations.

Involves routine and frequent exposure to:
Bright/dim light; Dusts and pollen.
Extreme heat and/or cold; Wet or humid conditions.

Special Certifications and Licenses
Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.
Reports to: Directly to location and Regional Manager.
